About Me
My name is Barbara Ann. Five years ago I experienced a series of deaths around me that forever changed me as a person and how I wanted to interact with the dying process as part of life moving forward.
I consider myself a perpetual student with a desire to keep learning and a humility to know someone always knows more. I view end-of-life doula work as a calling and the opportunity to witness a human passing from living to dying a sacred event.
I advocate to have the hard discussions about death as early as possible because the moment we are born we begin dying. I honor the opportunity to discuss death with you.
The Lighter Stuff:
Scorpio. Cook. Hiker. Traveler.
I have very strong opinions about coffee and returning your shopping cart. I like to read, listen to music and go on road trips. I practice aikido, meditation and try to make good choices on a daily basis.
